the short version
i am a recent graduate of the salt institute for documentary studies. my radio work has been featured on studio 360, mpbn's maine things considered, new hampshire public radio, and public radio remix. i currently intern at wnyc's studio 360. i hold a bfa in theatre from boston university. i am a radio producer, documentarian, storyteller, actor, and playwright who enjoys a good joke and a nice, long drive across the country.

the long version
born and raised in massachusetts, i earned a bfa in theatre from boston university in 2001. not long after graduating, i moved to new york city, where i spent the next 9 years living life, doing bikram yoga, and performing with collaborationtown, the beautiful ponies, and shenanigans comedy collective. in 2010 i moved across the country to the bay area in california, where i fell in love with radio documentary. i write, i tell stories, i make radio pieces, i make videos,  i act, i sing, i do sketch and improv comedy, i take photographs, i love to cook, i knit, i silkscreen, i dabble in stained glass and mosaics, i love all crafts, i am a music enthusiast, i love bikram yoga, i can play the violin, i am learning to play the banjo, and i generally try to be a good human being. 

in fall of 2012 i moved to portland, maine to study radio documentary at the salt institute. in december 2012 i graduated from salt. i am currently in new york city working with studio 360.
